Welcome to Plunkett Park located in Elmhurst, Illinois. For many years this land was used by the nearby Immaculate Conception High School for athletic purposes. In 1971 they sold the land to the park district for $900K. In 1974 the park was developed and to this day the high school still plays it's football games on this land. The park itself is named after Father William Plunkett, the top priest at the Immaculate Conception Parish. Aside from it's football/soccer field the park also has three lighted ball diamonds, a full basketball court, and a children's playground.
