Van Voorst Park

Welcome to Van Voorst Park, a suburban Chicago Neighborhood Park located in Elmhurst, Illinois. This park is located next to Jefferson School and for many years was known as Jefferson Park. In 1979 it was voted to renamed it in honor of former school principal and long time resident of the region Jack Van Voorst. This is a popular park and is heavily utilized by local little leagues for soccer practice.

Elmhurst Park Rules

*All Elmhurst Parks open at dawn and close at dusk. Lighted athletic facilities close at 11pm.

*The following must stay in designated areas, picnic grills, motor vehicles.

*All dogs must be leashed (no leash longer than 6 feet) and waste removed. *The following are all prohibited, alcoholic beverages, weapons, golfing, littering.

*The 10mph speed limit on the park roads is enforced.
