Welcome to York Commons Park located in Elmhurst, Illinois. The village first purchased this land in 1966 for a price of almost $400K from a man named Eugene Dramm who operated greenhouses and grew roses on this land for over a half century. In 1981 the park was extended after the local fire department sold some land to the park district and in 2009 a new and unique imaginative playground known as the Evos structure was built in the park. Some of the park's other great amenities include a soccer field, a skate park, a swimming pool with waterslides, and much more.

Elmhurst Park Rules

*All Elmhurst Parks open at dawn and close at dusk. Lighted athletic facilities close at 11pm.

*The following must stay in designated areas, picnic grills, motor vehicles.

*All dogs must be leashed (no leash longer than 6 feet) and waste removed. *The following are all prohibited, alcoholic beverages, weapons, golfing, littering.

*The 10mph speed limit on the park roads is enforced.
